Meet the collective!

We love soundsystem culture to the core -from its Jamaican roots to raves, clubs and festivals.

When performing as DJs, playing our heavyweight soundsystem, producing music, collaborating with vocalists and releasing artists on our label, we create a uniquely uplifting experience.

We are Dougie No Pain, Craigy Wonder, Breezak Bass and Tommy Danger – the collective known as Mungo’s Hi Fi.

Dougie No Pain
When the music hits you, you’ll feel Dougie No Pain. Original selecter and vibes man of Mungo’s Hi Fi, my mission is to lift you to higher heights as we join in the power of the drum and the bass.
Craigy Wonder
I manage our label Scotch Bonnet Records, DJ and produce music at Mungo’s. I love how we have the ability to go deep or broad musically depending on where the mood and vibe takes us. This applies to producing, playing or releasing music, it’s one of the benefits to our DIY ethos and being independent. I have been DJing since my early teens, playing everything from Hip Hop to Hardcore. I discovered Dancehall in the late 90’s which changed my life becoming my main musical passion. I joined Mungo’s in 2002 and was immersed in older Jamaican styles and later into dubstep and beyond!
Tommy Danger
I produce music and DJ for Mungos. I’ve had a varied musical background of Indy, Jazz, Funk, House, Techno and Dubstep. I love combining these elements with my passion for all aspects of Jamaican music, from Ska and Rocksteady to Dancehall.
Breezak Bass
AKA Jerome. My main focus is management and administrative duties at Scotch Bonnet Records Ltd. I’m the bookings manager for Mungo’s Hi Fi. I also provide technical support for the crew, notoriously known as the Soundboy behind the controls of the sound system. My musical background comes from eclectic and diverse influences with a preference for high-energy bass music. I’m constantly involved in the sound system scene and occasionally drop guest sets in sessions – I love to get the party going!

We play worldwide as dj’s and on our soundsystem, often performing with talented vocalists
